Studies
Studies form the experimental core of my work. They are usually created on paper—as preliminary studies, color studies, or as independent works. In them, I examine composition, reduce motifs, and approach the atmosphere of a place in a concentrated form.
I often work with gouache and watercolor here. The immediate, rapid working process allows for a particular clarity and intensity. Some studies serve as preparation for larger paintings, while others stand alone—as independent works with their own tension and presence.
